Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Kaimo Hunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kaimo Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Nencho Radionov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Nencho Radionov however easily saved by the left post. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Nencho Radionov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute. 82 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nencho Radionov. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Железничар's Todor Sivov got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Железничар.
