Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Antonio Arias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vendel Sass in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gedeon Fenyves in the 75th minute of the match. When Csaba Nyitrai came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Csaba Nyitrai couldn't finish the play. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 85th minute, but Vendel Sass got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lengyeltóti Örömfoci SE hanging dry this time.
