Clemencin Duran kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 4th minute of play. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Figueroa in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Firmin. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Teodosio Figueroa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Firmin came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Firmin in the 16th minute of the match. Cleto Firmin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match, Teodosio Figueroa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loco Malo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Karanowski in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Firmin made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's goalkeeper Loco Malo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Firmin in the 60th minute of the match. Loco Malo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lagrima en Jarrita made a substitution. Aristide Ştefănoiu replaced Teodosio Figueroa. Lagrima en Jarrita's Leonello Messias was substituted for Ma Mo Feng. With a little luck, Lagrima en Jarrita's Loco Malo got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Leonello Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagrima en Jarrita's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonello Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Noboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Leonello Messias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Leonello Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. In the 93rd minute, Filiberto Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
