The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nikolas Vainderlis hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Original's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Brilakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Nikolas Vainderlis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Original were awarded a corner. Zinon Charalambakos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Original's corner Zinon Charalambakos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ricardo Zorita quite easily take care of the ball. Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Original's Konstantinos Kladogennis got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Konstantinos Kladogennis made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Marios Sapounas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iraklis Brilakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Original booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Original's Konstantinos Kladogennis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Konstantinos Kladogennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Iraklis Brilakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Original's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iraklis Brilakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Original's Iraklis Brilakis got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Original were the better team. Original's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
