Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Abarca having to interfere. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Gerardo Abilio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Adam Jönsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Peso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Peso in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Richard Peso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Godfredo Abarca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Abarca. Godfredo Abarca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Peso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BEIJO CARNAVAL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Lehior in the 34th minute. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Aristides Lehior was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Godfredo Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Lehior hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Jönsson in the 38th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Jönsson in the 40th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Peso in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Abarca made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Abarca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adam Jönsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Romulo Arias was substituted for Rigoberto Olayo. When BEIJO CARNAVAL's Richard Peso in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Saverio Belasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Belasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Abarca having to interfere. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. After 93 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aristides Lehior who took care of the corner kick. The corner led BEIJO CARNAVAL's Aristides Lehior to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but BEIJO CARNAVAL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
