In the 7th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Co Wielaert came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Serwach hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Co Wielaert in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Astral Roots Gdynia were awarded a corner. Zygmunt Moizuk went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Co Wielaert put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Co Wielaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Co Wielaert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Luis Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Co Wielaert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Co Wielaert. 56 minutes into the game, Co Wielaert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luis Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Co Wielaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abram Luque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sébastien Marionneau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Co Wielaert came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedykt Jarosiewicz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the game, Astral Roots Gdynia's Co Wielaert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Astral Roots Gdynia's Czeslaw Okropny was substituted for Co Wielaert. In the 90th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Okropny in the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Astral Roots Gdynia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
