The supporters of México Eterno MZC booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Dorval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 13th minute. México Eterno MZC's attentive Alessandro Andrade managed to snatch the ball when Jean Marie Alcius made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. In the 24th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. If Carlitos Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernso Constant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Simões read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. México Eterno MZC's Maurinho Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Alphonse in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Alphonse to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Rodney Emmanuel in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by México Eterno MZC's Amadeu Veloso. When Ernso Constant came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernso Constant couldn't finish the play. Maurinho Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, México Eterno MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Maurinho Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Alphonse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. México Eterno MZC's Silvério Vidal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raymond Louis in the 84 minute of the game. After having played for 88 minutes, Ernso Constant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernso Constant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
