Federico Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Iruinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 9th minute of play. Federico Urtats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Federico Urtats slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. DirectorVisual.com's Federico Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute of the match DirectorVisual.com got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oscar Ruggeri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led DirectorVisual.com's Oscar Ruggeri to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Luque.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leopoldo Luque to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Kranevitter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, DirectorVisual.com's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Federico Urtats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 76 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauro Iruinea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Mauro Iruinea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 96 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the DirectorVisual.com players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The DirectorVisual.com fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
