Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, The Commandos's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Dumitru Moraru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Antti Ariva's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antti Ariva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Commandos getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Antti Ariva hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by The Commandos's Thanos Kalfakis. But to his dismay, Thanos Kalfakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 38th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Commandos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thanos Kalfakis made a kick off. Dumitru Moraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Sokratis Tsardikos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jose Correa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play forced The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanos Kalfakis's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Commandos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Bakatsias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, The Commandos's goalkeeper Dumitru Moraru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 79th match minute, The Commandos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antti Ariva to maneuver through the defense. Daniil Kleomenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The Commandos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
