Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) FC Olad's Aladár Takács started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FC Olad's Árpád Kardos got a free kick in the 8th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Elek Vörös managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Olad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elek Vörös was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Botond Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aladár Takács came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Olad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aladár Takács couldn't finish the play. After 28 played minutes FC Olad got a freekick which was hit by Félix Kozák. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Árpád Kardos in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Botond Détári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Botond Détári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Olad's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Botond Détári came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, András Győrfi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Olad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. András Győrfi kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Botond Détári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lóránt Vörös in the 45th minute of play. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Botond Détári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Botond Détári firmly grabbed it by the left post. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Botond Détári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Botond Détári in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Botond Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Lóránt Vörös came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Botond Détári in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Árpád Kardos in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Lóránt Vörös notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Árpád Kardos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Botond Détári tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
