After a rather tough play, Elfii's Diego Cannavaro got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Elfii's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ciprian Siteavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Elfii's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Chile's Pedro Indiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciprian Siteavu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 7 minutes into the match, Elfii's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ciprian Siteavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Hernánde Delzo in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Elfii defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciprian Siteavu. The Elfii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciprian Siteavu should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute Vintilă Bădulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alan Tamayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elfii's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Altan Çağa in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Elfii's goalkeeper Ciprian Siteavu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 28th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Ciprian Siteavu. Elfii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 32 minutes into the game, Elfii's Miguel Hernánde Delzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 36 minutes into the game, Vintilă Bădulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciprian Siteavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Elfii's Ciprian Siteavu got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elfii's goalkeeper Ciprian Siteavu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Elfii's Diego Cannavaro got a free kick in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Hernánde Delzo made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Miguel Hernánde Delzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciprian Siteavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 57th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Nichifor Gheban sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute of the match, Miguel Hernánde Delzo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 70 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciprian Siteavu. Elfii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 73rd minute of play forced Elfii's goalkeeper Ciprian Siteavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Bădulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vintilă Bădulescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play forced Elfii's goalkeeper Ciprian Siteavu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Miguel Hernánde Delzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciprian Siteavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Elfii's Miguel Hernánde Delzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nichifor Gheban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chile were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Elfii for a fine match.
