Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silvio Egun took the kick off in the first half of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Allison in the 3rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Cuquero's corner Nicanor Calixto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ricardo Zorita quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Allison got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Egun, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Egun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. After 20 minutes of play, Cuquero's Silvio Egun made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sean Allison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. The throw-in from Alfredo Garaile in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Allison in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Cuquero were awarded a corner. Nicanor Calixto went to the cornerflag to take it. Silvio Egun came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Zorita could save by the left post. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Salvador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicanor Calixto was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuquero's players had a chance to rest. Nicanor Calixto made a great header on Cuquero's corner, it was just that El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita managed to reach the ball for a save. When Silvio Egun came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cuquero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Egun couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Diego Vasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Sean Allison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Sean Allison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Sean Allison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Sean Allison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário Carioca in the 57th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Cuquero's goalkeeper Dario Cambiasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Leguizamo. Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Egun in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuquero's Romário Carioca. But to his dismay, Romário Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. If Alfredo Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Silvio Egun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuquero's Silvio Egun got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sean Allison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Cuquero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
