Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Charis Ververis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Patricio Costa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Hangovers FC's Stelios Kyriakiou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Savas Dalianas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelios Kyriakiou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Charis Ververis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charis Ververis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 58th minute, Patricio Costa made a precise shot to the right of Leonidas Stelopoulos. Hangovers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Hangovers FC's Leonidas Stelopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Savas Dalianas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
