The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 13th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Ezker Dorado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezker Dorado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Ezker Dorado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 28th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eufrasio Menendez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 30th minute of play forced ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s goalkeeper Kajetan Pionek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 minutes ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Kajetan Pionek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ezker Dorado hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eufrasio Menendez shot from long distance in the 45th minute, but Jonathan Ferrant was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ezker Dorado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezker Dorado in the 66th minute of play. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kajetan Pionek could save by the left post. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliāns Álvarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s Kajetan Pionek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐ from getting a goal against them. Kajetan Pionek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the game, Fermín López was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Fermín López kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐'s Kajetan Pionek didn't even have to move. Kajetan Pionek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 92nd minute of play. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Ezker Dorado came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the ⭐⭐⭐ LA SCALONETA ⭐⭐⭐ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezker Dorado couldn't finish the play.
