Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ivan Txeru sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Valentin Efren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Efren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute Ivan Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsea Football Club's Valentin Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ivan Txeru made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Camilo Gasteiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Gasteiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Efren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Valentin Efren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho scored 5-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentin Efren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valentin Efren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of play. When Chelsea Football Club's Ivan Txeru in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Efren. Chelsea Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. Valentin Efren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-3 was the resulting score. After having played for 79 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentin Efren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. When Augusto Hotz fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea Football Club's protests and gave Augusto Hotz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Chelsea Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Hotz to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
