Alfons Stål started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play forced Bondeträsk FC's goalkeeper Leo Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Knut Collin came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thiago Pliego could save by the left post. In the 12th match minute, Bondeträsk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Grelsson to maneuver through the defense. Bondeträsk FC's Leo Björling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 13th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Stål in the 18th minute of the match. Leo Björling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Fontirroig during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Fontirroig. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Guillermo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bondeträsk FC's Leo Björling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Bondeträsk FC defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Björling. The Bondeträsk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Björling should have stopped the shot. Leo Björling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Björling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Björling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Figueroa to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Björling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Knut Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Björling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Anton Grep made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Xavier Figueroa. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bondeträsk FC's Alfons Stål in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. Leo Björling made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Guillermo Fontirroig could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Leo Björling however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leo Björling was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Chile fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Chile's Mariano Lacasa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
