Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abram Sarmiento kicked off to start the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Torgny Landin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torgny Landin spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Pedro Manzanares grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. 7 minutes into the game, Joshua Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After having played for 9 minutes, Torgny Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torgny Landin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Torgny Landin made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Landin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Torgny Landin took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute Torgny Landin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Cazalla in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boca Juniors's Lars Ekberg. In the 38th minute, Axel Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Åke Källberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Oscar Lindholm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-1 after 41 minutes of play. When Torgny Landin came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Landin couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Torgny Landin made the kick off in the second half. Jens-Åke Källberg made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Santino Seco sent off a good shot on target. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lindholm in the 60th minute of play. Boca Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Jens-Åke Källberg, making the score, 3-2. Boca Juniors's Harry Hedling was substituted for Dimitris Panagiotakis. Boca Juniors's Jens-Åke Källberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the game, Per-Åke Lundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. The supporters of Colombia booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Åke Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Per-Åke Lundberg hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jens-Åke Källberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 78th minute. Torgny Landin scored 5-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boca Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
