If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Leon Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leon Mosiniak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Leon Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, Mario gool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliks Knopek to maneuver through the defense. Leon Mosiniak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak. Leon Mosiniak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Leon Mosiniak however easily saved by the left post. After 57 played minutes Mario gool got a freekick which was hit by CJ Robben. If Kryspin Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. Mario gool's Zbyszko Kociniewski was substituted for Zenon Makomaski. 82 minutes into the match, Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kryspin Oryniak hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leon Mosiniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 91 played minutes Mario gool got a freekick which was hit by CJ Robben. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
