Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Camilo Gaos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Tătaru in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Horia Tătaru made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Horia Tătaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Preator Edikt's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Tătaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Luís Gustavo Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Luís Gustavo Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Ceferino Totakoxe in the 28th minute really tested Jonathan Ferrant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Horia Tătaru received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Horia Tătaru slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 35th minute. Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist was substituted for Horia Tătaru. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Gustavo Barbosa in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Jiang kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 52nd minute, Stig-Ove Blomqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Albert Örnberg replaced Fellipe Vianna. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pihlberg having to interfere. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 74th minute of play. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Gustavo Barbosa in the 80th minute. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Stig-Ove Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 92nd minute Stig-Ove Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Ove Blomqvist came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Preator Edikt had played much better football throughout.
