Kryspin Oryniak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leon Mosiniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Mosiniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kryspin Oryniak sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play forced Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mario gool's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kryspin Oryniak got free with Julio Vera in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leon Mosiniak. Leon Mosiniak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kryspin Oryniak was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kryspin Oryniak in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Leon Mosiniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Mosiniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leon Mosiniak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leon Mosiniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario gool made a substitution. Edgar Jumancă replaced Franciszek Wykowski. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leon Mosiniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mario gool's goalkeeper Leon Mosiniak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Mario gool's Zbyszko Kociniewski was substituted for Zenon Makomaski. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Mario gool's Ulryk Biraga was substituted for Mykyta Yaremenko. The supporters of Mario gool booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kryspin Oryniak came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Mosiniak having to make a save. Mario gool's Leon Mosiniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. If Kryspin Oryniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mario gool.
