Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Doctor Strange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 7 minutes into the game, Sport Clube Recife's Pablo Lampard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Percy Fernandez came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 15 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Recife's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Percy Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Doctor Strange sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play forced Sport Clube Recife's goalkeeper Percy Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Lampard in the 27th minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doctor Strange in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Gualter Penha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Gualter Penha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Gualter Penha took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. 35 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Doctor Strange came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Samuel Navarro got a free kick in the 36th minute. Doctor Strange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 41 minutes into the game, Dong Yang Bang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Dong Yang Bang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. When Doctor Strange came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Sport Clube Recife fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doctor Strange couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doctor Strange to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Indiano during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball. Pablo Lampard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Remo Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes, Sport Clube Recife's Dong Yang Bang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sport Clube Recife reached it. In the 60th match minute, Sport Clube Recife was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rain Bow to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Percy Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Doctor Strange made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-4. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Gualter Penha notched a goal, 6-4, to the right of Colombia's Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. When Ignacio Mastache came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Mastache couldn't finish the play. Gualter Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Percy Fernandez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gualter Penha took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-4. After 91 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. In the 94th minute, Pablo Lampard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-4.
