Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Gudmundsson kicked off to start the match. Panama's Tomas Berganza was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 8th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Alekärr IF booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Miralles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Panama fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Panama's Tomas Berganza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Smefeldt in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Gudmundsson in the 24th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Alekärr IF getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ture Brander hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Torsten Dahlquist to make any attempt to save it. Panama were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Alekärr IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Alekärr IF's Torsten Dahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Skoog in the 35th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Gudmundsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Alekärr IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Axel Gudmundsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Panama's Marcos Cotilla did a great save. A collision led to Alekärr IF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joar Sundin hit a great ball. With a little luck, Alekärr IF's Torsten Dahlquist got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Skoog in the 41st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Dahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 46th minute. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Dahlquist having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Berganza to make the kick off. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Torsten Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Axel Gudmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. The supporters of Alekärr IF booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Ros. In the 67th minute of the match Alex Cambeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torsten Dahlquist skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Alekärr IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Torsten Dahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Alekärr IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Smefeldt to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Torsten Dahlquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 82 played minutes Alekärr IF got a freekick which was hit by Joar Sundin. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Dahlquist. Alekärr IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 87 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Dahlquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ture Brander hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Torsten Dahlquist came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Torsten Dahlquist came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Panama fully deserved thier win.
