Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abi Russo started the match with the kick off. Hugo Ferrant made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aysouraguán's Jesús Casado. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaizki Valverde having to interfere. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jaizki Valverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaizki Valverde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 11th minute of the match. Costa Rica were furious when Alexander Carballo was red carded, 21 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Aysouraguán. Abi Russo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Sanz. 0-1. Abi Russo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. 34 minutes into the game, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Abi Russo might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abi Russo ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Salazar in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Eliseo Noboa made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Abi Russo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 71st minute, Costa Rica's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abi Russo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a Aysouraguán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Abi Russo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The supporters of Aysouraguán booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. If Abi Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abi Russo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save.
