Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Berganza made the kick off which started today's match. After 15 played minutes Alekärr IF got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Svensson. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of play forced Alekärr IF's goalkeeper Torsten Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Isidoro Sarmiento fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Isidoro Sarmiento a yellow card for diving instead. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jan-Erik Skoog sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ståle Stolpe in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dylan Sarmiento during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Axel Gudmundsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torbjörn Smefeldt hit a great ball. When Isidoro Sarmiento was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. The supporters of Alekärr IF booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza's late challenge caught a Alekärr IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Berganza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Smefeldt came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alekärr IF's Bengt Mattsson got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alekärr IF's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torsten Dahlquist came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Gudmundsson in the 72nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Abraham Alguacil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torsten Dahlquist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Gudmundsson in the 98th minute of the match.
