Artigas's Armando Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leron Sale in the 10th minute of play. Jamaica's Romon Oliver got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 minutes of play, Jamaica's Leron Sale made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Finlay Stair took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Brito. Armando Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romon Oliver in the 40th minute of play forced Artigas's goalkeeper Armando Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wayan Freeman made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karlus Waugh however managed to control. Javan Develder made in the 56th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Artigas's Silvano Molfi. In the 58th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javan Develder to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Artigas's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Armando Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kordal Duff, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 93rd minute, Jamaica's Leron Sale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Jamaica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Artigas.
