The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 35 played minutes Santos Błeszno got a freekick which was hit by Piotr Podowski. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damazy Osielski was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Santos Błeszno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Ikalewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Marut to make the kick off. The tension between the Venezuela and the Santos Błeszno players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacy Jakisz in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Pliszka threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Damazy Osielski made a huge save. In the 88thth minute of the game Milosz Rasimowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Santos Błeszno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Venezuela walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
