After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pesqueira City's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin da Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 15th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pesqueira City's Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin da Fonseca, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 22 minutes Pesqueira City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Quintal in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Quintal got free with Marco Day in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of USA booed when Pesqueira City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Hansson in the 43rd minute of play. Pesqueira City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ionuț Iniesta in the 45th minute. The corner led Pesqueira City's Ionuț Iniesta to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, USA's Fabian Brown got a free kick in the 50th minute. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ignat Nozharov hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 65 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mădălin Lunca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. With a little luck, Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Baker charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Baker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Baker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Sebastião Quintal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of play. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 91st minute of play. The Pesqueira City fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
