Herminio Camerino came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Tomas Berganza sped through CA Twister Rodríguez's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herminio Camerino. In the 35th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Ramond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Laureano Tabor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Tomas Berganza might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Camerino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Berganza ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, CA Twister Rodríguez's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Herminio Camerino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
