Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fred Ferreira made the kick off and thus started the match. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Corumbaense F.C.'s Rei Messi. But to his dismay, Rei Messi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Corumbaense F.C.'s Rei Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rayan Rodrigues, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. Rei Messi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corumbaense F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Venezuela players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corumbaense F.C. were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Luís Eduardo dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Fred Ferreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Fred Ferreira put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. In the 69th minute, Corumbaense F.C.'s Vânderson Camargo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Fred Ferreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-7. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayan Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Ferreira came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Modrić came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vânderson Camargo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The supporters of Corumbaense F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. After 95 minutes of play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Vânderson Camargo made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Corumbaense F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Corumbaense F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
