Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Rainer Marthaler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Petrigai, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Julian Murillo in the 13th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Emil Arendarski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CA Juventud Unida through an amazing save. CA Juventud Unida's Emil Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save CA Juventud Unida from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesús Banana in the 30th minute of play. Emil Arendarski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Peru's Luz Tejedor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Arendarski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Emil Arendarski made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

CA Juventud Unida made a substitution. Witomir Milko replaced Albano Argider. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rainer Marthaler to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes CA Juventud Unida's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 59 in the game by Rainer Marthaler from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Arendarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Peru were awarded a corner in the 72th minute after CA Juventud Unida's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. Jesus Fix's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Emil Arendarski came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of Emil Arendarski. CA Juventud Unida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
