Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Железничар was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaloyan Cheriyski to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nencho Radionov came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. After 33 minutes of play, Железничар's Todor Sivov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kaimo Hunt came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaimo Hunt's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Железничар booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Todor Sivov sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todor Sivov to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Todor Sivov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Todor Sivov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nencho Radionov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 57th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imre Schlosser might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Imre Schlosser ran back to his position shaking his head. Todor Sivov took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Todor Sivov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Железничар's Nencho Radionov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaimo Hunt in the 82nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Железничар getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Kaloyan Cheriyski hit a great ball. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Железничар's goalie prevented a goal. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Железничар were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
