Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jerônimo Magalhães got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmo Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Magalhães in the 18th minute of the match. Jerônimo Magalhães scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmo Domingues. Silveira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Silveira's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beto Carvalho in the 33rd minute. Silveira's Beto Carvalho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Silveira's Jerônimo Magalhães. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Magalhães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jerônimo Magalhães sent off a good shot on target. In the 46thth minute of the game Jerônimo Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Felix Luque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Silveira the free kick. After 47 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Silveira's Dalmo Domingues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Rubens Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dalmo Domingues could save by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dalmo Domingues came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Dalmo Domingues in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Beto Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Domingues having to interfere. The supporters of Mexico booed when Silveira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedé Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmo Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dalmo Domingues. That made the score 2-3 after 84 minutes of play. Dalmo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Silveira's Dalmo Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Silveira from getting a goal against them. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
