Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Claudemiro Tristão came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Idalécio Veloso, made in the 24th minute of the game. Claudemiro Tristão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of the match. Idalécio Veloso made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Benjamin Šeško immediately put the ball in play. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GD Almargense's goalie prevented a goal. After 39 minutes GD Almargense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Julian Murillo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Eiró in the 41st minute of the match. Eliseo Mina might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudemiro Tristão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Mina ran back to his position shaking his head. With an all-out effort, GD Almargense's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Eiró, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Benedito Rebelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudemiro Tristão made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandre Eanes in the 57th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudemiro Tristão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Claudemiro Tristão in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Pinheiro in the 79th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Eiró in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 88th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Claudemiro Tristão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes, Eliseo Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the GD Almargense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. GD Almargense made a substitution. Zarco Patrício replaced Adérito Pinheiro. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. GD Almargense made a substitution. Carlos Vides replaced Benedito Rebelo. GD Almargense's Alexandre Valadares was substituted for Moussa N'Diaye. In the 90th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Mina to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Alexandre Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zarco Patrício's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
