After 7 minutes, Arda Göksel Erez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diriliş Trabzonspor and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Diriliş Trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Arda Göksel Erez. If Karlus Waugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarell Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Jamaica were awarded a corner. Finlay Stair went to the cornerflag to take it. Leron Sale kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Romon Oliver came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romon Oliver couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Jamaica booed when Diriliş Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birant Nezih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica's Finlay Stair. But to his dismay, Finlay Stair quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Karlus Waugh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diriliş Trabzonspor's Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kordal Duff in the 32nd minute of play. During the 33rd minute of the match Arda Göksel Erez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arda Göksel Erez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd minute, Arda Göksel Erez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Finlay Stair took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz. Diriliş Trabzonspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute of the match Jamaica got a corner. Diriliş Trabzonspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Finlay Stair ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Finlay Stair almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diriliş Trabzonspor's Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz did a great save. 38 minutes into the match, Leron Sale notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Diriliş Trabzonspor's Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gafur Yarlık hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Leron Sale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jamaica's supporters rose to their feet, but Leron Sale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selman İlkcan to make the kick off. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karlus Waugh in the 53rd minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selman İlkcan in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Finlay Stair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Gafur Yarlık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamaica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Finlay Stair in the 86th minute. The corner ended in Finlay Stair almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Diriliş Trabzonspor's Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz did a great save. Finlay Stair missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz right hand side. Diriliş Trabzonspor's Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 92nd minute of play. Leron Sale might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leron Sale ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 95 in the game by Finlay Stair from a close distance when the talented Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz managed to make a qualified save. Diriliş Trabzonspor's players were relieved. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Jamaica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
