But to his dismay, Boni Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Peru's Efraim Gilabert got a free kick in the 45th minute. Sinan Maruf blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mszczyczyn's Beniamin Bienienda. But to his dismay, Beniamin Bienienda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mszczyczyn made a substitution. Zygmunt Pietrowicz replaced Beniamin Bienienda. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Ömer Rıza Saip hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Boni Marques made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but András Erdélyi made a huge save. The throw-in from Ömer Rıza Saip in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 76th minute, Ömer Rıza Saip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Sinan Maruf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Henrichs got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ömer Rıza Saip. 83 minutes into the game, Milagros Fraga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. András Erdélyi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Rafael Gallo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of András Erdélyi. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mszczyczyn's goalkeeper András Erdélyi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
