After 4 minutes, Dráusio de Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the México Eterno MZC and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bolivia's Fernando Navarro was substituted for Eduardo Fontirroig. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieter Gamache, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alfredo Ferrant got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ismael Tejedor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Aristide Ciuvică kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Gamache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Fernando Navarro sent off a good shot on target. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Ciuvică in the 37th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Fernando Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Aristide Ciuvică made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After the first half México Eterno MZC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Richart Richardsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richart Richardsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 88th minute Richart Richardsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richart Richardsson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. 95 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richart Richardsson. Dieter Gamache might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieter Gamache ran back to his position shaking his head.
