Thanos Kopitsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 10th minute of the match. Emilio Eduardov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Emilio Eduardov got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Panama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Adolf Putin scored to the left of an out of position Marcos Cotilla, making the score, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Turan Gençyaz got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolf Putin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert Rojewski kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Emilio Eduardov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Emilio Eduardov kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Marcos Cotilla successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Thanos Kopitsis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanos Kopitsis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The OLYMPIOS ZEUS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolf Putin to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Jose Carita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turan Gençyaz in the 52nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Miralles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Thanos Kopitsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Miguel Miralles in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Sokratis Papafanakis. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute of the match OLYMPIOS ZEUS got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arif Burak Eripek ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th minute, Arif Burak Eripek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Thanos Kopitsis in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to OLYMPIOS ZEUS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Panos Karoubalos hit a great ball. OLYMPIOS ZEUS's Baldomiro Llorenc was substituted for Adolf Putin. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Llorenc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Baldomiro Llorenc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Emilio Eduardov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
