San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 8th minute of play. Saul Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Santos Confesor hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Etxeberri having to make a save. The supporters of Panama booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Etxeberri having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Panama's Tomas Berganza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Etxeberri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Abraham Alguacil scored 0-4 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Etxeberri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Etxeberri having to interfere. Tomas Berganza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saul Etxeberri having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Etxeberri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the San Fernando Eagles defense, Tomas Berganza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saul Etxeberri. The San Fernando Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saul Etxeberri should have stopped the shot. After 47 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saul Etxeberri was left in no man's land by his defense there! San Fernando Eagles's Eustacio Perfecto was substituted for Santos Confesor. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remigio Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Eustacio Perfecto. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Etxeberri. San Fernando Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Abraham Alguacil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Etxeberri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, San Fernando Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Saul Etxeberri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Teodosio Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Fernando Eagles the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saul Etxeberri, 0-10. Saul Etxeberri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abraham Alguacil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 95 minute of play. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The San Fernando Eagles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
