The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. The ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hasan Tahsin Hürol should have stopped the shot. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Escobar Pablo in the 33rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Tahsin Hürol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. Samir Beyhan charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samir Beyhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Tahsin Hürol came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goalkeeper Hasan Tahsin Hürol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 68th minute Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hasan Tahsin Hürol. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Daniel Zorita in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hasan Tahsin Hürol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 84th minute of play.
