Kalin Kremenski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yancho Pirovski in the 18th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Dochko Dotzov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dochko Dotzov in the 23rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kalin Kremenski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Dochko Dotzov scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kalin Kremenski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Dochko Dotzov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. S L A Y E R were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Asparuh Vikyov took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Asparuh Vikyov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when S L A Y E R's Dochko Dotzov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kalin Kremenski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dochko Dotzov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When S L A Y E R's Dochko Dotzov in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 played minutes S L A Y E R got a freekick which was hit by Zanko Altúnov. In the 79th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kalin Kremenski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Kalin Kremenski - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute of the match Asparuh Vikyov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Kalin Kremenski in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, S L A Y E R's Zanko Altúnov got a free kick in the 86th minute. Kalin Kremenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, S L A Y E R's Kalin Kremenski got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Dochko Dotzov sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera.
