Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ivar Sjödin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivar Sjödin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Miralles in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Sjödin saved Samba Fotboll U21 from getting behind. 11 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin. Ivar Sjödin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samba Fotboll U21's Ivar Sjödin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 13th minute of play. Ivar Sjödin came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 20 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Ivar Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 22nd minute of play forced Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Ivar Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivar Sjödin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivar Sjödin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ivar Sjödin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 30th minute. The Samba Fotboll U21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Sjödin should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Panama were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Sjödin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Sjödin. That made the score 0-7 after 54 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 62nd minute of play forced Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Ivar Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Sjödin saved Samba Fotboll U21 from getting behind. Ivar Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cambeiro in the 64th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Ivar Sjödin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Ivar Sjödin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivar Sjödin, 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 76th minute of play forced Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Ivar Sjödin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Sarmiento couldn't finish the play.
