Uruguay's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman 4 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso stood somewhat misplaced when Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. 14 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Hasan Tahsin Hürol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 19th minute. The nice shot from Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Joaquin Gayoso had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. A collision led to ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Akil Taşboğa hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Maximiliano Escribano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hasan Tahsin Hürol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Hasan Tahsin Hürol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hasan Tahsin Hürol was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hasan Tahsin Hürol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Escobar Pablo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman to make the kick off. A collision led to ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Seyit Ezgü hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Hasan Tahsin Hürol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Kanuni-Sultan Süleyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s Samir Beyhan got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Bruno Beldad came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Beldad couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Lütfullah Hürmüz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. ► CeRR aHPaS a J K◄'s supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Ambjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serhat Sarıdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Hasan Tahsin Hürol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Uruguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
