After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Valentín Carvallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentín Carvallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Luke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dunamis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Luke should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Luke having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herminio Luke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herminio Luke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Cabal in the 57th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Luke saved Dunamis from getting behind. Herminio Luke came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Herminio Luke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. After 90 minutes of play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Luke was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. Honduras walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
