Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Mexico booed when Czar Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerônimo Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 minutes Czar Sporting's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Rouco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tostão Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Czar Sporting defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Arantes. The Czar Sporting fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Arantes should have stopped the shot. Tostão Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Czar Sporting's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tostão Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th play minute Joel Gaona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tostão Arantes. 1-3. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tostão Arantes came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. Zé Roberto Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
