Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Pettersson went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Şadi Dindar. kankaa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Pettersson. After some careless play in the kankaa defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şadi Dindar. The kankaa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şadi Dindar should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Şadi Dindar having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Pettersson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Abram Sarmiento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Şadi Dindar. The goal made the score 3-3. A sloppy throw-in by Serafino Giro in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar.
