The supporters of Haiti booed when Diriliş Trabzonspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arda Göksel Erez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Ernso Constant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman İlkcan in the 21st minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Yetkiner Gökekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diriliş Trabzonspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. In the 33rd match minute, Diriliş Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkiner Gökekin to maneuver through the defense. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Alphonse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Ernso Constant recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz. Ernso Constant showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Arda Göksel Erez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Haiti's attentive Rodney Emmanuel managed to snatch the ball when Rıfkı Hazar made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Alphonse to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Philippe Ambroise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haiti and the Diriliş Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Philippe Ambroise got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute Jonathan Alphonse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Selman İlkcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selman İlkcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 66 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selman İlkcan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taci Durul in the 82nd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Alphonse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Çağrı Mümtaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Felix Dorval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Dorval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diriliş Trabzonspor were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
