Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Schlurp IF's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Lindgren came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Lekberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mats Lindgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Lindgren having to interfere. Emanuel Arenstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Isadore came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dick Smefeldt was slow to take the kick. During this time Schlurp IF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dick Smefeldt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The supporters of Schlurp IF booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mats Lindgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mats Lindgren. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. In the 41st match minute, Schlurp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Myr to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddie Sandström was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Isadore in the 51st minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Arias during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 54th minute. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dick Smefeldt. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Freddie Sandström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Freddie Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schlurp IF's goalkeeper Mats Lindgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Schlurp IF's Mats Lindgren. Mats Lindgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mats Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
