Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 5th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletic Club Araucaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletic Club Araucaria's Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 16 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes in the game, Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Abdul Majid Awat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 28th minute of play. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdul Majid Awat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Abdul Majid Awat came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Leopoldo Cesaro took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Alketas Klanakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Atletic Club Araucaria's Baldomiro Gonchan got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Leopoldo Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Atletic Club Araucaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Cesaro couldn't finish the play. A nice corner shot did that Leopoldo Cesaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 68th minute of the match. Gayle Leto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Baldomiro Gonchan in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gayle Leto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gayle Leto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atletic Club Araucaria made a substitution. Aldo Diagur replaced Gayle Leto. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen in the 91st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohamed Salah Ben í Lon Jacobsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alketas Klanakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Atletic Club Araucaria players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
