Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Freddie Sandström took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Schlurp IF's Boris Myr got a free kick in the 8th minute. Mats Lindgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Andino's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Freddie Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Sandberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddie Sandström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Mats Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Wennersten. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 58 played minutes Schlurp IF got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Arenstedt. After 59 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mats Lindgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 61 minutes into the match, Schlurp IF's goalkeeper Mats Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 86th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mats Lindgren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mats Lindgren, passed just outside the right post. Ladislao Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere.
