After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Berea Matei got a free kick in the 18th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Berea Luca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berea Luca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodion Cămătaru in the 27th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute FC Berea were awarded a corner. Rodion Cămătaru went to the cornerflag to take it. Primitivo Escribano's late challenge caught a FC Berea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Paraguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Berea:s goal. Iker Tafalla hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodion Cămătaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Paraguay booed when FC Berea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Stroiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodion Cămătaru to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodion Cămătaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berea Matei to maneuver through the defense. Basarab Arotăriței made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Berea Luca immediately put the ball in play. After 74 minutes, Rodion Cămătaru made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Basarab Arotăriței came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FC Berea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basarab Arotăriței couldn't finish the play. After 78 minutes, Hector Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the FC Berea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Hector Covarrubias. Basarab Arotăriței made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. In the 81st match minute, FC Berea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florin Stroiescu to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodion Cămătaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes FC Berea got a freekick which was hit by Florin Stroiescu. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berea Luca in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Berea could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
